Ye.F.Belashov was born on November 19 (December 2), 1906 in St. Petersburg. She studied at the Vkhutein (Leningrad) (1926–1932) under the guidance of R. R. Bach, V. V. Lisheva, V. L. Simonova, A. T. Matveyev. In 1941-1952 she taught at the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. In the years 1952-1965 Professor VPHU named after SG Stroganov. In 1957–1968, he was secretary, since 1968 the first secretary of the Artists' Union of the USSR. Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1964). She worked mainly in the field of easel sculpture.
