Farzaliev Chingiz Abdul Majid oglu

Born on November 20, 1943 in Baku. In 1973 he graduated from the Surikov State Art Institute (Moscow), the faculty of painting. In 1975 became a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. From 1966, he was a member of republican, union and international exhibitions. From 2004, he has been working as the head of the Department of Painting at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts. In 2006, he was awarded the title of the Honored Art Worker of Azerbaijan. From 2008, he is a professor at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, 2010 - director of the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan. He is also the chairman of the State Expert Commission on Fine Arts from 2010.
