Lavrinenko Ruslan Lvovich
Studied at the Saratov Art College (1946-1951) with A. I. Borodin, V. F. Gurov, I. N. Shcheglov, B. V. Milovidov, I.V. Sevostyanov. Lived in Saransk 1953-1957, worked at the Mordova Publishing House. Moved to Saratov in 1958. Taught at the Saratov Art College (1960-1978), was in charge of a studio of amateur painters at the House of Folklore of the Saratov Province. Member of the Artists’ Union of the USSR (from 1970 on). Distinguished Artist of the Russian Federation (2001). Prize winner of the international competition “Golden Palette”.
