1955 - Graduated from the Art Department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography in Moscow.

1977- Awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR.

1989-Awarded the title of People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR.

The works of Khalida Safarova were exhibited in Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Algeria, Turkey, Israel and other countries.
