Agalar Bakhmanovich (Bakhman-oglu) Abdullayev was born (Baku, Azerbaijan SSR, ZSFSR) - Azerbaijani artist. In 1944 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Art School. Author of a series of drawings on the theme of the Great Patriotic War "The Life of a Hero" (1944). Participant of exhibitions since 1945. In 1948-54 he studied at the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, V.P. Efanov (diploma painting - "The First Morning on Vacation (With Mother)".
He painted genre paintings "A Date with Son" (1952), "Explanation" (1955), "Shearing Sheep" (1957), "The Shepherd's Family" (1957), "Waiting for the Train" (1958-59), "Midday" (1961), "On a Highland Collective Farm", "Kindergarten on a Collective Farm". He also painted a number of portraits - shock workers, ordinary workers.
In 1957, he traveled to India, where he made a number of sketches.
Agalar Bakhmanovich died on January 19, 2000 (Baku, Azerbaijan). His paintings are in the Azerbaijan Museum of Art and other museums in Russia and Azerbaijan.
