Huseynov Yusif Ismail Ogly

Representative of Azerbaijani fine arts, People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR (1979). In 1949 he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art College named after Azim Azimzade. In 1955 he graduated from the graphics department of the Vasily Surikov Moscow Art Institute. In 1964 he was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist, and in 1979 - People's Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. In 1977, Yusif Huseynov was elected chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan. In the same year he was appointed Secretary of the Board of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
