Farhad Kurban oglu Khalilov (Azerb. Xəlilov Fərhad Qurban oğlu, October 26, 1946, Baku) - Soviet and Azerbaijani artist. People's Artist of Azerbaijan (2002), Chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.

Farhad Khalilov was born in 1946 in Baku. In 1961-1966 he studied at the Art School named after Azim Azimzadeh. Then he continued his education in Moscow at the Stroganov School and in 1969-1975 at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. Apsheron motives - beaches and views of Absheron, as well as settlements of the Absheron peninsula, such as Nardaran, Buzovna, Zagulba, Mashtaga, Mardakan and others - occupy a significant place in the work of Farhad Khalilov.

In 1987, Farhad Khalilov was elected chairman of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, he is in charge of this creative union to this day. The artist's works have been repeatedly exhibited both in the countries of the former USSR, including the Tretyakov Gallery, and in Europe. In 2006, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Farhad Khalilov was awarded the Order of Glory for his services in the development of Azerbaijani culture.
