Kruchakov Samuil Abramovich

Born in Mariupol, Donetsk region. Get initial art education in Mariupol Industrial and Technical School. In 1928 – 1930 studied at the art courses in the Association of Artists of Red Ukraine, in 1930 - 1935 in Kharkov Art College at B. Kosarev’s studio. Since 1935, he participated in national exhibitions, presenting thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes. In 1938 - 1941 worked with M. Nesterov. Exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery. Since 1944 he was a member of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan. In 2002 and 2006, solo exhibitions were held in Kiev. His works are in museums of Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan and Canada.
