In 1923 I studied at M. D. Ryndzyunskaya, in 1924-1930 in VHUTEMASE in Moscow at I.S. Yefimov and I.M. Chaykov.

I lived in Moscow. The member of ORS, together with I.S. Yefimov, S. D. Lebedeva, I.M. Chaykov, I.G. Frikh-Har entered association "Team of Sculptors" ("Crew of eight"). Author of numerous portraits and compositions.

Creativity I.L. Slonima is presented in many museum meetings, among them - the State Tretyakov gallery, the State Russian Museum, Murmansk Regional Art Museum and others.
