Antonov Fyodor Vasilyevich

People’s Artist of the RSFSR, professor of painting. Studied at the VKHUTEMAS in Moscow with S.V. Gerasimov from 1922 through 1927. Was a member of the Group “OST” (Society of Easel Painters) from 1927 through 1932. Friend and close associate of A. A. Deyneka and Yu. Pimenov. Pictures are in the State Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum.
