Kasumov Nadir Sadihovich

In 1946 he graduated from the State Art School named. A. Azimzade. Then he studied in Leningrad, at the Institute of Drawing, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin.

From 1958 to 1969 he was a board member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.

From 1967 to 1969 he was elected three times as chairman of the city council.

1970-2000- taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Art.

1970- awarded the Silver Order of the Exhibition of Economic Achievements.

In 1969 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan.

The artist's works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museums of St. Petersburg, museums and private collections in Azerbaijan, the USA, France, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic.
