Mazurov Valeriy Stepanovich

Graduated from the Kursk Art and Graphic College (1963), and from the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad (1971). Was awarded diplomas by the Academy of Fine Arts of the USSR (1975), by the Artists’ Union of the USSR, the RSFSR and Moscow Regional Artists’ Union(1984), member of the board of the Kursk section of the Artists’ Union of Russia (1987). Teacher at the Kursk State University, Art and Graphic-Art School, Drawing Department: Assistant Professor (1991), Professor (2005). Distinguished Artist of the RF (2003). Took part in the “Slavonic Plein-air” (2008 Stary Oskol, Belgorodskaya Province), chairman of the first International Plein-air “Nightingales’ Country” (2011 Kursk).
